Mostly Autonomous LLC

Why Mostly Autonomous exists

Mostly Autonomous LLC is a venture studio and umbrella company focused on building, testing, and operating mostly autonomous businesses, or MABs. Rather than committing to one large business too early, the company is designed to launch lean digital ventures quickly, give them a defined runway to prove traction, and then either scale the winners or shut down the weak ones without dragging out the experiment. The company’s core model is to use AI, automation, data systems, blockchain, and selective human oversight to create businesses that can operate with far less labor than traditional small companies. In plain English, Mostly Autonomous LLC exists to build practical businesses that can mostly run themselves.

Founded by Ben and Tracy Greene

Mostly Autonomous is grounded in a few core philosophies and operating principles. One of the biggest is a simple truth: vision without execution is hallucination. Another is the 80/20 rule. Ben believes the new agentic workforce, when properly managed, can reliably deliver the 80 percent that creates real leverage, speed, and operating momentum. The aim is not to chase hype. It is to build real businesses with clear economics, disciplined execution, and modern operating leverage.

What matters here

The company is meant to be bigger than any single product. It is a venture studio for finding, testing, and operating mostly autonomous businesses with real-world constraints in view.

Operating principles

These principles keep the project grounded while still leaving room for ambition.

Use AI and automation where they create leverage, not theater.

Keep humans in the loop where judgment, trust, and accountability matter.

Test quickly, measure honestly, and avoid romance with weak ideas.

Build a portfolio, not a single fragile bet.
